Where are you from?
Danville, CA. I have a lot to say about growing up there. Some good, mostly bad. Maybe I'll do some posts about growing up there in the 80's and 90's.
How long have you been a Software Engineer?
I got my first job as a Software Engineer in 2000 with Windermere Real Estate in Seattle, WA. I'm forever greatful for the initial opportunity that became the springboard for my career.
Do you have a favorite language?
I love Ruby. It gets some hate from the "cool kids" (🙂) due to being a dynamic language, but Ruby is elegant and wonderful to use.
What tools and software do you use for work?
I live in VS Code and use iTerm for my terminal.
Favorite Food?
I love burritos. I tend to eat them too quickly. If you and I went head to head in a burrito eating contest I'm pretty confident I'd destroy you.
Do you have any side projects?
Absolutely. I've been working on two projects in particular lately. I plan to write about them as I develop them on this site. Stay tuned.
